Privacy Policy

RĀU, operating as ResetbyNaz ("RĀU", "we", "us", or "I"), provides mobile lymphatic drainage and paramedical aesthetic services across Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, and operates the website resetbynaz.com.

Your body is placed in my care, and so is your information. This policy explains what I collect, why I collect it, how it is protected, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

1. The information I collect

Contact and booking information. Your name, email address, phone number, service address for mobile appointments, appointment dates and times, and any notes or preferences you share when booking.

Health and treatment information. Because lymphatic drainage and dermal revision are body treatments, I ask you to complete an intake form before your first session. This may include your health history, recent surgeries or procedures, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, and any conditions that could make treatment unsafe. I also keep treatment notes recording what was done in each session and how your body responded.

Photographs. With your separate written consent, I may take before-and-after photographs of the treatment area to track your progress. Progress photos are kept for your file only. Photographs are never used on my website, on social media, or in any marketing unless you give me specific, separate permission, and you may withdraw that permission at any time.

Payment information. Deposits and payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Your full card number is entered directly with that processor and is never stored by me. I keep only a record of the transaction: the amount, the date, the service, and a payment reference or the last digits of the card.

Website and device information. When you visit resetbynaz.com, my website platform and my analytics and advertising tools may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on the site, and the site or advertisement that referred you.

Communications. Emails, text messages and form submissions you send me, and my replies.

2. Why I collect it

I use your information only to schedule, confirm, reschedule and deliver your appointments; to assess whether a treatment is safe and appropriate for you and to adapt it to your body; to keep accurate treatment records and continuity of care between sessions; to process deposits and payments and keep the financial records I am required to keep; to answer your questions and send appointment reminders and aftercare instructions; to send newsletters or promotional emails, but only if you have asked to receive them; to understand how my website is used, to improve it, and to run advertising; and to meet legal, tax, insurance and regulatory obligations.

I do not use your information for any other purpose without first telling you and obtaining your consent.

3. Consent

By booking a service or submitting a form, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described above.

Health information and photographs are sensitive, and I ask for your express consent to these separately. You will be asked to agree in writing on the intake and consent forms.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@resetbynaz.com. Please note that withdrawing consent to collect health information means I may no longer be able to treat you safely and may have to decline service. Certain records must be kept for a period of time for legal and insurance reasons even after consent is withdrawn — see section 8.

4. Who I share it with

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

I share information only with the service providers who help me operate this business, and only to the extent they need it to do their job: my website platform, which hosts this site and its forms; my scheduling software, which handles online booking and intake forms; my payment processor; my email marketing platform; and my analytics and advertising platforms. These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and are not permitted to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.

I may also disclose information where I am required or permitted by law to do so — for example in response to a court order, a lawful request from a regulator or law enforcement, to collect a debt, or to protect someone from serious and imminent harm.

5. Where your information is stored

My service providers may store and process data on servers located in the United States or in other countries outside Canada. When information is held outside Canada it may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country under the laws that apply there. By using this website and my services, you acknowledge this transfer.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

resetbynaz.com uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to function. Others help me understand how visitors use the site and allow me to show relevant advertising on platforms such as social media and search engines.

You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising through the settings of the relevant advertising platform. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of this site work. I do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals at this time.

7. Emails and text messages

Appointment confirmations, reminders, aftercare and replies to your enquiries are transactional messages relating to a service you have requested.

Marketing emails are sent only to people who have asked to receive them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@resetbynaz.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop appointment-related messages.

8. How long I keep your information

Health, intake and treatment records are retained for a minimum of ten years after your last appointment, in line with professional and insurance practice. If you were under 18 at the time of treatment, records are kept for ten years after you turn 18. Progress photographs are kept with your treatment file for the same period, or deleted sooner at your request. Financial and tax records are retained for six years, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

When information is no longer needed it is securely deleted or destroyed.

9. How your information is protected

Safeguards include password-protected and encrypted devices and accounts, multi-factor authentication where it is available, reputable service providers that encrypt data in transit and at rest, physical security for any paper forms, and access limited strictly to myself and anyone who genuinely needs it to deliver your care.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure and I cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, I will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information I hold about you and to be told how it has been used and to whom it has been disclosed; to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected; to withdraw your consent, subject to the limits described in section 3; to unsubscribe from marketing communications; to request deletion of your information, subject to the retention periods in section 8; and to complain if you believe your privacy has been mishandled.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@resetbynaz.com. I will respond within 30 days. I may need to verify your identity before releasing information. Access is free in most cases; if a request requires substantial time or copying costs, I will tell you the estimated cost before proceeding.

If you are not satisfied with my response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at 1-800-282-1376 or priv.gc.ca.

11. Children

My services and this website are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian. Clients under 18 must have a parent or guardian consent to treatment and be present where required.

12. Third-party links

This website links to other sites, including booking and social media platforms. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and I encourage you to read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
